Delta Protekt KL-100

Delta protekt ®Kl-100 is an anti-corrosion protection system, applied by immersion, centrifuging and bulk polymerisation for metal items, particularly steel parts.
This is an organic coating with zinc and aluminium flakes, providing excellent protection against corrosion.

It allows later treatments to add a colour, offering greater anticorrosion protection, chemical resistance and, should this be necessary, also allowing lubrication.

Delta protekt ®Kl-100 can be applied to screws, nuts, bolts, rivets and extra-strong securing items for the automobile, building, renewable energy and maritime sectors. This is also applied in parts not for securing such as cast, fine cut and stamped parts, etc.

Characteristics

• Coating of non-hydrogenated zinc and aluminium flakes. Provides a cathodic protection against corrosion (barrier effect).
• Reduction of white rust (zinc oxide).
• Cured at low temperature (220 º-250ºC) so as not to have an effect on the structure in high-resistance steels.
• Resistant to chemical products, solvents, fuels, etc.
• Withstands temperatures of up to 150ºC.
• Allows multiple screwing and unscrewing operations.
• Heavy metal-free product not including any RoHS 2002/95/ EC: Cr6+,Pb,Cd or Hg, environmentally friendly.
• Complies with REACH requirements.

Delta protekt ®Kl‐120 is an anti-corrosion protection system, applied by immersion, centrifuging and bulk polymerisation for metal items, particularly steel parts.
This is an organic coating with zinc and aluminium flakes, providing excellent protection against corrosion. Great covering power.
It allows later treatments to add a colour, offering greater anticorrosion protection, chemical resistance and, should this be necessary, also allowing lubrication.

• Heavy metal-free product not including any RoHS 2002/95/ EC: Cr6+,Pb,Cd or Hg, environmentally friendly.
• Complies with REACH requirements.

DELTA-PROTEKT& TC 502 GZ as a topcoat in combination with a zinc flake basecoat or other metallic substrates, is responsible for a wide range of multifunctional properties. The topcoat completes such a zinc flake system with a very narrow coefficient of friction window. In addition, the coating is free of PFAS and free from harmful heavy metals and has a silver finish.
