Shot Blasting

 

This treatment is executed with drum machines and turbines that have stainless steel balls and is used basically as a pre-treatment for steel pieces and other metals.

It is especially suitable as a pre-treatment of those pieces that cannot have trapped hydrogen or that can lead to poor hydrogenation.

It improves significantly the pieces that need a certain resistance to fracture when bending is applied to, for example, springs.
